Hi Everyone,

I've just tried to use a QF $50 wine voucher and it throws an error.

I think this voucher is one that I received from some promotion at Woolies where you spent a certain amount and got a wine voucher emailed to you. I know there is a thread on AFF somewhere but I have looked and can't find it.

If someone can remember the promotion, the thread, or the approximate date of the promotion, I would be very greatful if you could point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance.

I recall a Woolies promotion offering a Qantas Hotels voucher within the last few months, can't recall one with Qantas Wine in recent months.

Have you checked any minimum spend conditions? Some of those, for example, require a $150min spend to apply them

When they have a minimum spend I usually make a note of that; I haven't noted anything on this one. It could be that I can't read my own writing where I have recorded the number. If I can find the original source I can check the code; hence the need for a "pointer" as to where to look.

I personally did not receive an offer from EveryDayRewards with a Qantas Wine $50 voucher on a $30 spent, although I do recall receiving such an offer for Woolies for a $50 Qantas Hotels voucher. I would recommend looking at the terms and conditions of the voucher which you would find in the email Woolies/Qantas sent you with the voucher (at the end of the email).

If you cannot find it in your email, I would recommend simply placing the order over the phone. In that way the agent will be able to tell you why it's not working. Better yet, you may also earn additional points for your troubles!

Thanks for your suggestions. Trouble is I can't find the original email/source of the voucher. I have recorded the voucher number and expiry date in my diary so I got the offer from somewhere, just can't remember where. I'll have to record more details next time I receive an offer like this.

I'll try phoning the agents later today and see if they can shed light on it. But it would be good to find the original email/offer so I can check I've written the number down correctly.

My $50 Hotel voucher arrived on 18 Jan. The Woolies “Snow globe” $30 spend bit was a month or so prior.

The email is titled:
Your $50 Qantas Hotels and Holidays voucher is inside

I'm waiting to hear back from the phone agent.

The phone agent got back to me not long before I saw @SYD's post.

I can't find the "Snow Globe" email but the wine agent confirmed that yes, it is an hotel voucher, not a wine voucher. Obviously I've written it down wrongly; if it was received on 18/1 as suggested by SYD then that was a day I actually ordered some wine from QF so I thinking about wine at the time.

The QF wine agent advised they are able to look up all voucher codes so that's handy to know for the future.

Only thing now is I'm not sure of the expiry date. My notes suggest 17/12/24 although the wine agent stated July 25. It's not a problem as I have plenty of opportunities to use it in the next month or two.

Thanks to all for your assistance and suggestions.

Yes, the Hotel voucher expires 17 Dec 2024.

Swap? Wine for hotel voucher. :)

Great idea except that I am heading overseas in 4 weeks and can easily use the Hotel voucher; I also have enough wine to see me through to departure. Maybe next time?

Thanks for thinking of me.
