QF WP's Meet A Moderator week in MEL, 25/11 to 29/11/19

So it's about time for a couple of dinners, to meet those AFF locals I already know and meet some new faces behind the handles.

I have the pleasure of heading to MEL for a week - the first couple of days have client meetings (Monday AM to Wed lunchtime) and then a Conference from Wed afternoon to Friday afternoon. Also staying at the MEL DoubleTree and according to their posts, know that at least 2 others who I will likely both miss by hours (@JessicaTam and @Matt_01 both there on night of 24th).

So I am available on Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th evenings. I am being taken out to dinner on Wednesday (Squires Loft @ Docklands) and have an Awards function to attend on Thursday night.

Rear of 360 Little Collins Street, in Gills Alley. A short walk from the corner of Elizabeth St towards Queen St
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL DINNER BOOKINGS PRIOR TO 7PM ARE ALLOCATED A 2 HOUR SITTING.

I have an all day session on the Wednesday (in MEL), so some chance of being in town and available.

I could be available any day or no days, or any combination thereof.

We unfortunately can't do dinners at the moment unless we do then at home.

Yes, that was a conundrum that I was musing over @blackcat20 - I want to get to see you and @TomVexille so unless nobody can do Tuesday and we have a private dinner together? Thoughts - if you are available.

I buggered up my Hilton accomodation dates as well. However @QF WP I will be MEL, I can make dinner on Mon-Wed nights and fly out on Thur. As advance warning and experience a combination of @boomy, @penegal and myself can result in pain the morning following. Just saying.

I have drunk a couple of times with @boomy and more than I can count on 2 hands with @penegal. The latter is the concerning one for me. So adding you to that list as well. I am just as worried about @Cruiser Elite, I haven't had the pleasure yet, but hoping to this trip. Looks like being the Monday night for us - looking forward to it.

So the Tuesday night suits the 4 of us then? Are you happy to host us @blackcat20 and @TomVexille. @Cruiser Elite has a bottle of Champagne with my name on it, so we might as well drink it, rather than me having to take it home. l might tee up to see my Blackburn and Mitcham clients on Tuesday. I could also see another colleague at Frankston in the late afternoon, so might not be on your train TV.

I have booked the babysitter for Monday from 5pm. Looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting some members for the first time. I'm not sure if I can make it to the city by 6pm but should be there by 6.30pm.
