Congratulations! I wonder if you'd like to start a thread "Successful UK261 claim" outlining the circumstances of the claim, how you went about it etc?

Well done.
It would be interesting to know for every airline operating out of UK or European airports what percentage of passengers can be bothered to make these claims when they're entitled to.
A high percentage might not, even though there is 'free money' on offer.

Even better that our man did not use one of those UK "agents" who act as go-betweens. I assume they take a cut, but fortunately I've never had a substantial delay ex the UK or Europe.
