Hi all,

I think this is a strange question, but nevertheless I will ask it!!
How can I book QF107/108 without leaving Sydney. I have 4 days in LA before I need to get to NY. Would rather fly QF than AA. Cheers.

You can't. It can only be sold as part of a through fare SYD-LAX-JFK and vice versa AFAIK.

Hi Dmac, Not sure if I completely understand the scenario behind the question, but you can stop in LA for a period before continuing to JFK - i.e. the trip need not be done purely as a few hour transit in LA before heading to JFK.

I've done this a number of times, although admittedly with only one extended stop in LA per return trip (eg MEL-LAX (stop for a few days) QF107 LAX-JFK, but JFK-LAX-MEL without a stop on the way back (or vv)).

Hi pm3207,

Thanks for that info. Story is, I am off to Indy for work again and was looking at NY for a few days, just before boring myself with seminars. Think I will just go AA from IAD to JFK. If I had have thought about it a little more I would have booked it through to NY on QF107. Maybe in Feb 15. Cheers
