Hi,

I am flying to Auckand on QF125 on Sunday the 19th of September.

I have seen the following information on threads in this site:

QF31 - F1 A0 J9 C9 D0 I0 W6 R4 T0 Y9 B9 H9 K9 M9 L9 VC S9 NC QC OC XC E0

ie no hope of an upgrade to J.

QF 1 - F8 A8 J9 C9 D9 I8 W9 R9 T9 Y9 B9 H9 K9 M9 L9 VC S9 NC QC OC XC E0

Is there somewhere that explains what this means, and where I can get this info for my flight?

Many Thanks.

The fare classes shown are what is provided by seatcounter or expertflyer and are an indication of the level of bookings for each flight, however both the above services look at the data from what the airline is prepared to sell to the North American Market and may not always show the full picture.

The first letter is the class of fare such as full economy = Y, discount Business = D, normal business J etc etc while the second digit is the number of seats left up to 9, if there is more than 8 then it will only show 9.
