QF135 MEL-AKL what is immigration queues at 0600hrs?

flying to auckland QF135 0645 departure first week march.

what is queues like for immigration at that hour of the morning!?!?

aarrgghh... dont want it to be anymore stressful rushing thru, but dont want to waster time waiting around if lines are non existant.

Is it busy at that time of morning with departures/lack of staff, or a breeze?

Recommended time for arrival for 0645 departure?

Maybe I'm lucky, but I never waited more than 10 min for check-in, 10 min security and 5 min outbound immigration in MEL. My second favorite airport after HEL!
So I would arrive at 5:15 for boarding at 6:15.

It tends to be rather quit for the early AM departures.

It is really the only flight leaving at that time, an hour to the next closest flight. It is only a 737 so maybe 150 passengers if it is full. They will probably have two (or three) immigration staff on, I would expect immigration to go fairly quickly.

your ticket will tell you when the cut off time for check in is.

The only time I used it it took all of 5 minutes to wander through. Then I had to wait 20 mins for the F lounge to open.
