Hi all, flying out of Osaka Kansai shortly on QF34 in J and I am just wondering what the Sakura Lounge is like at Kansai Airport? It’s been a few years well maybe a bit more but wondering what it is like now has it been refurbished or still the same as it was 5 years ago? Thanks for you assistance.

Seems the JL KIX international lounge was renovated in 2015 to be like the HND lounge.
I haven't been there for quite some time. The last time I was at KIX, I used the CX lounge at the other end of the terminal. (CX is in the north wing, JL and QF in the south. It is hard to get between the two wings.)

Travelling on QF34 next month.
Noticed the website suggests either the Sakura lounge or the KIX Airside lounge.
Any recent experiences? In particular, I was interested in a shower and the QF website lists showers being available in the KIX Airside lounge but cannot confirm with a quick Google search.

Interestingly QF suggests "Access to Sakura lounge is not applicable on Tuesday's, use the KIX Airside Lounge. ", yet QF34 doesn't operate on Tuesdays! Bizzare..
