Qf5 syd-sin / qf6 sin-syd a330-200

Hey there

Does anyone happen to know if the refitted economy is available for QF 5 and QF 6 that runs the SYD-SIN-SYD route? It would be great if someone could shed some light. Also, what does the 'old' economy look compared to Singapore Airlines SQ?

At the moment, the A330-200s on QF5 and QF6 are the old international configuration cabins, which have the same seats as the unrefurbished A330-300s and the same Rockwell-Collins IFE (think small PTVs).

From October sometime, QF5 and 6 on certain days will be operated by the refurbished A330-200s, which are essentially the refurbished domestic birds. Hopefully they will send the ones with the Panasonic PTVs in Y.

Singapore Airlines itself has three different economy class cabins operating into Sydney.

SQ222 is usually the newest when it's operated by the B777-300ER (at the moment it's an A380, which means it's the same as the cabin below).

SQ232 is the A380, which has the 2006 economy class cabin.

SQ212/242 are the B777-200/300, which have the refurbished 2001 economy class cabin.
