Just had notification that QF9 to London tomorrow (16/6) has been cancelled - does anyone know what the cause of this is please? Also is it best to wait for Qantas to contact me or get onto them? I’m P1. Had to be a holiday and not business … wedding in Sicily… thanks for your help

Looks like the issue is QF10 is stuck in London. Managed to get transferred onto Emirates tomorrow night at 9.15pm. The “premium number” paid off I guess and she was incredibly helpful. Middle seats but I guess that’s a first world problem… may get lucky at the airport, at least we are sitting together. Haven’t flown emirates premium economy before.

Does it not however cost thousands more doing direct than routing via DXB? Hope they offer more than just the flight? As it's also ex UK can you claim EU261?

Now in Sicily relaxing …
