I ordered my (standard) cabin bag on Sunday.... and it was delivered by courier on Wednesday!
The website said allow up to 4 weeks for delivery..... wow! Great service!
The product is very pleasing. Plenty of pockets and pouches.... more than you would really use.
I'm quite pleased...... plus a chance to win 100,000 QFF points!!

regards,

Well I got a shock when I walked into work this morning. Big parcel on the desk. :D

The Platinum (leather) FF bag is actually in a black (with grey dots) drawstring bag.Looks slightly bigger (better for files/ring bind folders). Padded inserts make it feel like it's going to be softer bounce against your leg when walking (rather than the bashes and bruising I normally get). Disappointing part is when you open it up and unclip the base, it has a velcro flap (here I am thinking this is where the expanding section is), but you look straight at the styrofoam cushioning and a metal strip that is inserted into the middle section.

Will roadtest it next week betwen BNE, SYD, MEL, CBR - see how it goes and report back. Definitely has that lovely leather smell... :)

I took it on a 5-sector 4 days domestic trip last week. The all leather bag is light years ahead of the pack from a comfort point of view - particularly the leather handle that doesn't cut off circulation. Inside no real difference from the ordinary bag, in fact, could be a slight bit smaller.

Will probably end up buying another to replace my other FF bag.
