Just wondering if there are any hotel loyalty programs that let you earn in their program for stays where you are also claiming QFF points?

As Jokes128 mentioned above:
Accor is the only one which can be done easily, without having to transfer points.
Join or go into your ALL account, in there somewhere will be a bit to enter your QFF #, each stay you plan, book either online, or with the Accor call center or the hotel direct, tell them your ALL #, and stay, and thats it, the QFF points will be 3X the before tax amount (before GST) and the amount will be in your QFF account in a few days.
But if you were to make a booking at a 3rd party website, booking.com or Expedia etc, it does not work, as you will gain under the booking.com system, not the ALL system.
Other programs, its a bit more troublesome, in the sense you have to transfer hotel points stays to QFF.
In the past, but no longer now, there used to be other programs that were similar to the ALL & QFF system.

In addition to AP, sign up for All Plus and you get 20 nights towards your status plus other benefits that cover the sign up cost.

Cheers Everyone, I had to book my three night stay in Singapore so just did it through the Accor website. Turns out I already had an account with Accor - just hadn't been staying at their properties, but have been accumulating points because of my Qantas flights. Have now booked my first stay, so will see how it all works. The Accor options close to the Suntec exhibition centre were interesting, the closest one was a 2* budget that didn't sound real flash, the next two closest were crazy expensive, but landed a good deal on the Pullman Hill St - looks to be a 500-600 metre walk to Suntec.

Small, but nice rooftop bar.
OK that is good to know - cheers! I didn't pay too much attention to the hotel itself when booking so it is good to learn a little about it - sounds like you have stayed there before? Main aim was to find somewhere within an easy walk of Suntec, and as long as the room was of a reasonable size and quality it would meet my needs for three nights. Has been over 25 years since I last stayed in Singapore.

It is a nice hotel, room was good and an ok size, it was an overnighter for us and comfortable. Breakfast was ok, nice size gym for a hotel and the staff were great. Would stay again as it is centrally located with some good restaurants within walking distance.

Sounds like it will easily meet my needs then - cheers!

How did you get from and to the airport? I haven't had a look at that yet.

Check the metro routes. There is a display near the exit from the terminals which shows all the info you need. It is an excellent system, and you can buy a multiple pass for the period you are there….

Cheers - will do! Will get past the show in Sydney next weekend then get into the deeper planning for Singapore.

Taxi is quickest, and clearly signed after you collect your bags, pretty reasonably priced as well and no fuss. My preference after a flight, then metro to get around during the day/evening. Make sure you have a picture of the hotel and address for the driver.

Metro takes about an hour, it is cheap and definitely a good way to get around, can tap on/off with credit card. Google maps lines up with the metro system pretty reliably.

No Uber in Singapore, I think it is Grab, however I found that the taxis's where reliable and well priced.

Many thanks! Landing about 19:00 from memory and have to hit the ground running the next morning so taxi might be the quick way to get to the hotel and get some sleep!
