Hi All
i will try not to cover old ground but i am having a little difficulty understanding this topic as i am still a noob.
I believe from old post that flying around the LOTFAP on AA can be very rewarding regarding Status credits, i have read several several post describing ways of adding stopovers (i think) to improve status credits ie SEA-LAX-LAS-SFO in F for amazing prices.
my questions are
1. how do you locate these specials?
2. how do you actually book these variation to the direct route?

I spend a bit of time over there so i would like to take advantage

Cheers
TGR

serfty put an excellent thread together to help and it can be found here. I used his advice recently to book a couple of trips within the USA.:)

I studied and used this thread too and booked our trip HNL- SJU return with AA first class and earned enough sc's to get us to Gold

Thx Tony and Noreen, and Serfty for the work he put in , i must say though my brain hurts working through it. I will keep plugging away . I should finish reading by the time i leave in june.

I also used the Instant Upgrade advice to book F from LAX to CHI in May, & the extra SCs will earn me another year of SG. So well worth getting your head around the process.

Very appreciative of that thread :)

Thx Gary,
from the information i have read so far , do i understand this correctly. to use your example LAX-CHI. was the routing predetermined by the airlines or is it possible to create your own routing assuming the airline goes to those airports?
Tony

To all involved in responses and once again to Serfty, a big thank you and "I GET IT" I say with a BAMFSEG, looking forward to giving it a try , best i have found so far is $1.48 /SC
