Hey guys,

Just wondering what the recent changes are if any? I haven't travel JQ for quite some time.

Do we still get lounge access? thinking about taking adv of the cheap tickets to HNL and was wondering and still trying to decifer if the bolt on packs are worth it or not!

Thanks in adv :)

Yep still get lounge access for QF SG and above travelling Jetstar. Don't need the pack for that!

If you're WP flying to HNL out of SYD or MEL - the deal is very, very good!

It is an excellent price this weekend! I booked yesterday. As footy99 mentioned you do get lounge access if you have QFF status. I also chose to add the plus bundle - it was an extra $59 and I get 45 SCs and 4500 points or so each way, as well as a meal etc. I think that's good value, YMMV.

I am not aware of any recent changes but your post suggests there are some.

Oh no not at all, I just thought i better ask the ones in the know here, because i have hardly any experience with JQ. I noted there was another thread about QFF Gold i think and their access etc. But just wanted to make sure its still the same, or its not about to change!

I think you ought to get the "Plus pack" even just to collect QF FF mileage and QF SC from the trip to HNL.
I certainly would buy the plus pack, maybe not the Business Class pack, but at least the Plus pack.
Edit: I have flow JQi, both 330 J and 787 subclass of Y, domestic passenger on an international flight.
So long as you don't expect full service, you will be ok.
I flew the A330 QF PER - SIN in a subclass of Y, about 2012, I would say, a bit of a step down from that, and thats where JQ subclass of Y is.
Don't expect a lot and it will be ok, expect SQ service on an equivalent distance, and flying JQi to HNL will be a let down.

Yes, it looks like its a worthy purchase. I assume however there are no bonus points associated with status though?

So it is a return flight to Hawaii, 9000 pts + 90 SCs (plus a meal/seat choice) for under $600? And for WPs, Flounge access in Syd as a bonus?

That's a great deal. Shame it ends today - gotta plan quick!
