Hi there,

I'm going to crowd-source the forum to find the information I need. I'll be 160 SC short of extra platinum benefits (Gold membership for partner). Any suggestions regarding the best way of managing this? SYD - BNE - TVS in J is over $2000 return, SYD - Auckland J is around $1400 return (but more hassle). Ideally I'd like it all done in one day or weekend. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

A JASA (business Any Seat Award) Syd-Bne-Tsv return will net 200SCs and cost 48000 QF pts and about $350. You need to ring QF to book.

Cheapest I can think of is catching a bus to Canberra, staying a night, then doing a CBR-SYD-HBA-SYD-CBR JASA for 32,000 and around $300 and missing the last flight. 160SCs.

LAN across the ditch and back is also worth considering for under $1K
