I'm dying to know when they're starting construction on the TMW Lounge since I'm about to start flying back and forth near weekly TMW-SYD-TMW.
Construction coming to an end shortly. Lounge opens 01 July...so I was told today, in TMW.

Where is lounge going to be constructed? I haven't seen any evidence of it at all, even in recent weeks. Is it in the terminal?
Apparently, will not be staffed. Maybe qantas card swipe will let pax and their guests in. To be seen.
Walking towards the terminal it's to the right and adjacent to the rental car booths. I guess there will be tinted windows to let some light in. Entrance will be from the secure area after security checks. ..along passsage and past the toilets. Apparently, will not be staffed. Maybe qantas card swipe will let pax and their guests in. There's a banner stand past security announcing that lounge is coming shortly.

Wonderful news...there is no mention of guests though. Will normal rules apply? The Wi-Fi will truly be useful.

Should be the same as other regional lounges - ie the GLT example.
The construction of the lounge was announced the week after locals heard Virgin was looking to recruit ground staff.
Interesting. I hope the new lounge won't deter Virgin's plans.
I doubt it, in Gladstone it was similar, both airlines are happily doing well there and the ATRs are a money maker on a leg like Tamworth to Sydney.
