19 Jan LHR T1 around the same time. Might be able to guest you into FLounge. I don't know what time I get back to LHR so you might want me to come and fetch you from JLounge. (Besides I don't know the ins and outs of T1 - I've only used the lounges at T4 before.)

I don't get into LHR until 23 Jan. My flight leaves at 12:25pm.

Also guess what I just arrived into HK Airport and got a free op-up to business class to LHR.

I have put a request for an upgrade to business on the way back from LHR-HKG - do you think I should cancel and the chance of a op-up happening again.

Don't know. Any ones thoughts.

Chances of Points upgrades are far higher than those for Operational Upgrades, even at this time of year.

Personally, I'd stick with the points request - "A bird in the hand ..." and all that.

I apologise in advance if I offend anyone in any way. I wans't going to reply but I am confused and it would be nice to have an explanation. Today is the 17th and you do not get into LHR until the 23rd but after arriving into HKG today you got an op-up to business class going to LHR!

Either you can predict the future or your flight to LHR is going to take 6 days to get there! Which is it?

When was the last time you won the lottery? Some people here have flown 100s of segments without an op-up! In the nicest possible way please get real....

Due to my original flight being canned I am now scheduled to arrive in LHR 2 hrs later.
