Correct no lounge and very little airside (so stay landside as long as possible - note arrivals takes you direct to landside).

Finally, someone from AFF will be there around the same time as me

Jason, what time are you likely to be in the lounge till? I'm taking QF68 leaving at 2330.

And, FCL? F lounge? Chairman's lounge?

Chairmans lounge????? Wouldn't that be great, AFAIK, they only exist domestically.

FCL - First Class Lounge.

I should be there until about 9.10pm.

I will PM you before I leave SYD.

Hmm.. that will be around the time we'll be arriving in the lounge I would assume, given our flight time.

I'll be in BCL, with a colleague (I've got QC Life, so will be guesting him in). Any chance you can guest us into FCL before you go? Or do we need to be travelling on the same flight as you? ;)

No problems, although I am allowed only one guest, see how we go.

No you do not have to be on the same flight.

Using Radioman's lead from over on FT, I have created a Calendar that everybody can use to advise the times and dates they will be in QC's. Click on this link and you'll notice it's headed AFF members Qantas Club meetings.

Everybody adds/changes and deletes their own - no moderation from me unless I'm advised that people are deleting the wrong listings (i.e. not their own).

To add one to the Calandar, click on the relevant month and then date. In the Calendar text, add in your details using the following format:

{City code, Terminal number or either Dom or Intl, J or F} QC, member name}
Times (in and out) are the start and end times (local time please).

i.e.

BNE D, 4pm - 5pm, QF WP or SYD T3, 6am - 6.30am, QF WP

or

SIN I F, etc...

I don't have the time now to put all the existing times up (but I may try over the weekend). Feel free to add your own.

To make it easy to find members, I suggest that members who are looking to meet up congregate at the FT meeting places (as most will happen in Australia, I suspect).

FT Corners - SYD T3, BNE, MEL
FT Corners - ADL, CBR, SYD T2, PER

Unfortunately that site is very intermittent as to when it actually wants to work..

I prefer to post meeting times on AFF or FT.

Not interested in additional websites, especially intermittent ones.

Strange, I'm yet to be denied access to the calendar website from the 20 odd visits I've made :?: .

I've had more problems with access to AFF or FT (or even QF)

I see the difficulty with posting meeting times, is that if you are wanting to see if any other members are going to be there at the same time, you have to scan all messages posted in the thread - too labour intensive for me.

Rather, if anybody else has already posted their details on the same day I travel, in a single view I see which other members are travelling on that day and where they'll be

Still, each to their own.

When I read Flashware's comment I thought exactly the same (although I would have put them in a different order!). I just have to try to be diligent about putting my times in there!

The first few weeks after Lindsay's post I found that the calander was a bit hit and miss for me as well, but fairly reliable to access more recently

Good thinking 99 :)

I started to enter all my OW lounge visits and realised that if we all did that, the calendar would be very full and too hard to read, so just stuck to QC's.

**EDIT**

P.S Flashware

I have moved my Mar 4 trip out by one week, so unfortunately I will not be able to get you into the F lounge

I note that some people are using the time function rather than typing the time in manually - neat Idea I think :)

I will put my stuff in there (not just QP but AC and CX lounges if that is OK. But I guess I will have ot scan this as well...
