QR award availability down to 219 days???

I've been checking Montreal to Sydney (or Doha) on Qatar and there's nothing for early September at the moment. There might be a time difference before they come up so will keep checking. I want 11 September 20 and the dates are up to 3 Sept for some availability out of Montreal. Good luck with your search and enjoy the UK

Hopefully my points from the Qantas card will post at least one month of the 20k bonus, I have loaded up my card this month with some bills in advance and I have just spent $1000 at Qantas. I have -10nights accommodation in the Uk yet to pay, might go through this week and pay in advance. DH has about 10k and if need be I think my daughter has some points she could loan me
That’s why I booked the F flight - I thought at least I will have something. I hope something comes up for the return - I don’t have any other points so will just keep looking for options - Emirates maybe.

Noticed there are flights into Adelaide today from Doha, but nothing into Syd or Mel. Frankfurt to Doha has been consistently available, but we need to fly into Sydney and that leg dropped off about 5 days ago and hasn't been seen since!

I've been checking Montreal to Sydney but have only been able to see the Montreal to Doha leg for a few days. Doha won't come up for me as a start city. How do you see the Doha to Adelaide flights?

Do a multi city search, Montreal to Doha and then Doha to Adelaide. Might have to select Doha to Adelaide flight on the next day depending on how the flights work out of Montreal. Have a play around.

I've been doing a bit of "research" in the Qatar manage booking section to try to request seating for our Sydney to Oslo flights. I think the reason I get the error message is that Qantas or Qatar has used the same Qantas FF/Club number for both my wife and I. I was able to request seats for me but not for my wife. I tried to update the details in the booking, to insert my wifes correct FF number but kept getting messages asking me to update all passengers details, which I had already done. It also defaulted to Christmas Island for our contact phone numbers, (maybe I'm about to be deported!!). Have to say it's a most user unfriendly web site even though I'm pretty computer literate. So I have to admit defeat and will phone Qatar. Good luck with flight search everyone.

Yes same happened to me, you need to call Qatar. Best if you know what seat numbers you want, so you can just tell them the numbers.

I had the same experience with phone number country codes, single FF number assigned for both pax and inability to choose seats. I phoned QR who were able to resolve all of the above on the call. Since doing so, correct FF numbers, contact phone numbers and seats are visible through both QR and QF MMB portals.

I think Qatar simply did not release award seats out of/into Adelaide at the least, for the period of July and into August. Now I see many for late August but these never showed up for my out date of mid July and return date of early August.

Yes I have had the same ff number issue as well.
I just called and they told me they couldnt change it - as both passengers were booked from the same account. I guess it doesnt matter as no points will be earned. But he did put through my seat allocations. Bring it on!!

They should be able to change it as they sorted ours. Booked through a FF redemption on my account only.

I didn't even think to ask them. I just got them to select our seats. I should have asked. Might call back at some point. Is it just me or is their phone line super quiet? I found them hard to hear down the phone!

No I was just thinking if they change the aircraft or something then I will have to call again to select seats, so would be nice to be able to do it myself after the FF numbers are fixed.

Ps. Good to know it's not just me who couldn't hear them. I called twice and it was a real struggle!

Had to call.
Frankly not impressed with the call experience... PNR, names of passengers, phone number, email address, AND date of ticket purchase!!! WTF!
Considering you only need PNR and one last name to log into the booking online.

Does anyone know if the free Qatar transit accom is available to those that have booked their journey using QFF points?

We are flying MEL - DOH (13hr stopover) - CDG next year, in J, booked with QFF points. Is it worth vying for the free transit accom or popping into the city for a few hours then back to the J lounge (potentially paying extra for the F lounge)?
