Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

What do you more well-travelled folk think about a 1.5hr international to domestic transfer at ADL? Is it doable?

In Adelaide? If two internationals land at once you might take 40 minutes tops. No problem.

I had an AA booking on QR into Adelaide, then QF to Mel. I was told the min connection time was 80 mins, so had to change my QF flight to a much later one.

80 minutes is consistent with the published minimum connection time for International-to-Domestic connections at ADL, although there is an exception for QF200-299 and QF5000-5999 which apparently require a 90 minute layover (whatever those flights are!)

For work I used to do GLA-xDXB-ADL on EK. Bang on 80 minutes and only made it about 50% of the time as the 777s get parked out on the tarmac that time of day so it's +40 minutes from arrival just to get back to the terminal. xGLA was always late getting away if they had to de-ice as well. They seem to give away a few free hotel stays on that leg.
But xADL is easy under an hour.
