Some good deals in J showing on QR at the moment, best searched on their site as they don't always show up on ITA Matrix.
Examples: £866 AMS-BKK, £744 OSL-DEL, £772 OSL-BKK, £1421 OSL-SYD

Have you flown them before? If so, in your opinion how do they compare to the big players.

I'd be interested in OSL-SYD.

I've flown QR quite a few times now in both Y and J. Have always cherry picked routes for their best J product (A380 and 787) but the 777 is still fine if travelling as a couple. 787/A380 are better for solo travellers. Would have no qualms in travelling with them again.

This weblink points out QR sale from Oslo to SIN. It's in German but you can translate and see cheap fare in J.

I used Expedia.com.au and price worked out to around aud1270 return in J.

ARN-SYD return in J around aud3360

Just tried this on Qatar's website and it came out to AUD $1800 for dates in Oct/Nov. Can you please give a little more info on how you got this price of $1270? Sounds to be too good to be true.

Sorry, but it's really like $1800. Perhaps you can show more info to confirm it's $1270 (R/t OSL-SIN in business class)...

When I checked Expedia there were 4 seats available for the lower price. Now, just 2 seats for aud1783.

The Euro811 in link matched price i found on Expedia so i have no doubt about the offer. Likely prices have changed.

For same dates Oslo to BKK return in J shows aud1639.

Choose Oslo (all airports).

Can confirm that. Booked CPH-BKK for a shade under £700.

There was cheaper available but that suited the specific dates I needed.

No, aud1270.

I doubted myself after your posts but then the Euro811 is much closer to that figure. No confusion
OK, thanks. I think I've now sorted it out. The extra cheap fares are only available from certain online travel agents and not from www.qatarairways.com. Most of the really good fares seem to have now gone, but I did find OSL-BKK-OSL in I class on a few dates in August for 7561 NOK ($1245) on www.expedia.no (not www.expedia.com.au).

Pity I already have several business class tickets to Europe this year or I would have booked it straight away. Anyway, these fares finish today, so maybe next time.

Managed to get CPT to JFK return in J for $1700AUD very happy!!

That's a steal of a deal.

The ZAR falling low against the AUD is helping enormously I would imagine on all flights quoted in ZAR at the moment.
