So I’m flying QR909 in F on 3 July which is a Sunday night departing 9pm. From what I can gather, the final qf departure is at 7:45pm.

Does any one know what the lounge situation is for QR in syd atm?

At least the QF F lounge until it closes (obviously).

Doesn't QF17 depart around 10 pm on Sundays?

9:30pm‘ish but sadly not on Sun, 3 July. Handy to know however if travelling on QR - book a night that QF17 operates!

I do! Also flew F on this service a few weeks ago. Air NZ Lounge is used, which is actually superior in my view to QF QC. But nowhere near QF FLounge but that's closed by the time any meaningful use could be made due to last QF service departure prior.

I have now changed these fights so am flying CX tonight, so will not be using the NZ lounge :(

Flew Qatar Heathrow in May from melbourne. Got into the qantas first class lounge fine with QR platinum. The first class lounge closed so decided to check out the lounge QR was using and it was absolutely shocking. Tasteless Bain Marie food, clinical lighting, kids running around everywhere.

Flew QR F a few days ago.

Used QF F lounge until QF75 departed and was told to use the Air NZ lounge thereafter. My QR flight was delayed ~ 1 hour so spent longer than expected in the Air NZ lounge.

Boarding normally is below anyways - so quite convenient.

ANZ lounge sounds good compared to my last QR flight out of Sydney, they offered us the priority lounge once we were kicked out of QF F loungue, I ended up getting a kebab in the food court instead, better experience… 🤣

I am flying QR909 from Doha to Sydney next Tues which departs at 22.00pm...The last Qantas flights seem to be around 19.30pm to NZ, but they code share with Emirates flight (EK413 / QF8413) which leaves at 21.45pm...will they keep the Sydney first class lounge open for this flight, or shut once the NZ flights leave?

Presumably you meant SYD to DOH but as reported elsewhere, the lounge is apparently back to some precovid normal operating hours and especially on nights that QF 25 operates. It’s scheduled to depart for HND at 21:55.

Sorry, I did mean SYD to DOH - doesn't look like QF25 flies on Tuesday when we are flying out, so hopefully as per the msg above it will still be open for code shares (EK)
