That sounds exciting!

Is there a limit of the number of sc to earn?
Does gift card purchase count?

Edit answergin myself: 40 sc, excluding gift cards, all in the t&cs.

There's always a limit of 10 per month, which gets doubled or quadrupled during promotions.

If I recall correctly there's also a limit of 100 in a calendar year ... I'm assuming that these SCs will all count towards that limit? Or, I'm wondering if the extra SCs are regarded as a bonus over and above the 100 limit?

Either way, it'll help me load in more SCs from Coles in time for my next status review date.

Looks like it's double, if you don't turn on autotransfer, which I don't want to do (I have ~250k FlyBuys right now). But I was hoping we'd get double in December like past years, so this should help me inch toward Plat requalification.

I believe the only limit is 10 per month making up to 120 per 12 months (without bonus).

Let's see

- one account 150,000 points
- other account 120,000 points

Double or quadruple SCs would have been nice but each account getting close to a return airfare to Thailand. No way I'm turning on auto transfer.

Note that ~75,000 Velocity points could be enough for a return to Thailand but I can't travel when I want to travel.

You can get double without autotransfer. It's only for quadruple you need to turn it on.

I'm not even going to do that.

I don't 'need' any more SC's to requalify VA WP before end of February and even if I did 'need' any I'd unlikely to turn on auto transfer which would clear out my 6 Figure Flybuys balance for a measly extra 20 SC's and the points I could get anytime.

I won't be worrying too much about this, as it won't really help a lot in getting the additional 700 SC's I need to retain WP.

Not sure at this point in time whether I'll let it lapse or go on a SC run to get the SC's.

Let's wait and see what the new year brings...

My understanding is we need to have autotransfer turned on around the 30th Dec to 5th Jan or so when they credit?
Just need to decide if I want to transfer my FB points into VFF or not

Are we expecting one of these promos again this year? Trying to decide whether to do a Coles shop tonight (more convenient) or tomorrow (possible extra incremental status credits). I may just scrape to Platinum again this year.

I would love it if it happened again this year.

Just looking through my emails... the 2x/4x Status Credit promotion was emailed to me on 2 December, 2022 (for transactions between December 1 and December 31). See screenshot from that email below.

I have no inside info, but wouldn't be surprised if something is announced tomorrow.
