Couldn't really find the answer, hence why I'm asking. I will be flying on China Eastern Airlines SYD-PVG-CDG (and return) all on one ticket next month. Will boarding passes be issued for the PVG-CDG flight in SYD? I've read stories of the 2nd boarding pass not being issued (not always the case) and you have to clear immigration and check-in again at PVG, which will be a complete pain in the cough. I won't have checked baggage either (if that makes any difference). Any insights or feedback about recent experiences would be much appreciated.
