Agreed! I've tasted the blood of WP and want more! I hit WP last year and feel like my travelling is so more effortless now. Business Class lounges, priority phone access, OP UPs, 100% points bonus.

I wonder what it was like before they started diluting the benefits!

That's what I wonder too

I've only had around 6 segments since turning WP at the end of October, but things do feel easier (especially award availability and some pretty helpful people on the premium desk). I have a lot of planned flying on OW this year, so it'll be interesting to see if it really does make much of a difference (apart from the in-my-head difference).

I'm still crossing everything hoping that ScaryTeam or *A make it 'down under' and DJ join an alliance either through their tie-up with DL or on their own (although I dare say the latter is unlikely).

Bring ScaryTeam or *A down here, and you may find QF start being forced to look after their elites like other airlines with alliance competition have to.
