Quick trip to Seattle - Museum of Flight

Noice report.

Did both in June 2006 and for mine, the MoF was far better.

I stayed in the SEA-TAC area, using a rental car. Drove to "Boeing Field" and the MoF early morning before heading up to Everett and the factory tour for a later in day tour booking. In hindsight I would have spent another 3 hours at Boeing Field.
One can easily catch the suburban bus from downtown to the MOF. It takes about an hour though but is cheap. I recommend taking the bus after 10.30am when the pensioner and others get cheap fares. Our outward trip was like sitting in the front row for an episode of Fargo. The characters were fascinating.:)

It was 7 or 8 years ago that I went to the factory, but it was an easy trip by bus with one connection to get there (and back) when I did it. Not saying both would be possible, just that the factory is an option.

That's how I did the trip too from downtown to the factory. I agree that it's possible, indeed not too hard, but the Museum is easier. Also, doing both in one day by bus is either going to be very long or rushed, I reckon. If bosox does want to get to the factory by bus, I'd recommend that he/she uses the King County Metro website/app rather than google. More accurate for places outside of urban Seattle, I found.

Well I just returned from my visit to the MOF. Thanks to everyone for their input. I don't really have any extra photos that would add that RooFlyer hasn't already posted. It was certainly a very enjoyable day. Unfortunately didn't get to visit all the exhibits but it gives a reason to come back again. Next time I'll organise myself better and add the Boeing tour. Thanks to Seanpodge for pointing me in the direction of the transit app. Made timing my trip much easier.
