A QQ, what's the quickest way to book a OW Visit Asia ticket? Is it QF reservations, QF Holidays, or travel agent (ew)?

Looking at doing a slightly nasty itinerary with two friends next April which will include a couple of trip breaks, and the potential need for a Japan rail pass (hence why I'm thinking about booking thru QF holidays, for points on transaction).

Will be along the lines of:

  • PER-SIN-NRT
    • break to either Rail or Boat NRT-ICN
  • ICN-PVG-PEK-HKG
    • then break to SG for HKG-SIN on A380
  • SIN-PER

Any thoughts or ideas on this greatly appreciated.

You may be better off with a Circle fare... check the OW website for more details.

I think you will find that the OW Circle Asia-SWP at AU$2299+++ for 13K miles may be your best deal. Having said that I am assuming economy.

The ICN-PVG segment would need to be "surface" and flown on one of the Korean or Chinese carriers to stay within the 13K limit. And the same applies to the SG segment you wanted HKG-SIN.

Happy wandering
