Started again with the satays and starter then had the original white Bee Hoon and that was nice. Followed up by an ordinary cheeses plate.

Now the FA serving my side was very good and friendly. That couldn't be said for the fellow in the other aisle.

An unusual flight path into BNE. We had a tail wind and we were looking at being into BNE 30 minutes early. But when we were due west of Gympie we changed course and headed for Rockhamton so arriving on time at 1930.
When we told our driver taking us home he said I saw that on the tracking. But the plane before you got in at 1830 so the place wasn't busy.

So when leaving the plane the FA is saying thank you to everyone and when I approached it was thank you drron,I hope we will see you soon. I felt good.
Most of the J pax stopped in the Duty Free so we were first to the carousel. This was the view.

Lucky that our bag wasn't as far down the line as usual for us on SQ so very soon on our way home.

A couple of musings.
Not a bad idea to join up the National Trust before you go as you get reciprocal rights in the UK though have to pay for parking if it is charged. Here you can find a list of their properties.

Another to consider joining is English Heritage which we used on a previous trip. If you are considering Stonehenge it would be a great idea. here is their list of properties.

Both of these do have properties you can stay at. We did do this through English Heritage and stayed in the Gate house of Osborne Palace. You can wander the grounds at your leisure after the crowds have gone.
We have also stayed in the Bodysgallen hotel in Wales which is owned by the National Trust. And they have the Bodysgallen Gardens just a short drive away.

For a bit of luxury and no cookie cutter rooms on this trip we used Hand Picked hotels as we had a trip booked in April 2020 and they refunded to our CC without us having to ask. they were prepaid non cancellable rates. We really appreciated that.

On past trips we have used these sites.

But if you want IHG loyalty points the reasonable browsing here.
