What do AFF VA WP's do with their SC's after re-qualifying?

The last few years after re-qualifying for WP ( typically 1000-1100SC's) am I just wasting these extra SC's. Lifetime status would be great ;)

My work travel is only domestic, and 99% with VA ( QF around 150SC)

Im thinking to just family pool to my partner, and get her to SG, at least that way we'd both have lounge access OS when we're on vacation, which would allow us to bring in our teenagers, instead of just the allowed 1 person as a WP.

Is anyone else been doing this? just trying to work out any drawbacks.

Hope that all makes sense :)

Yeah tbere are a few options - note that even with pooling, your partner still needs the four VA flights for SG.

Have you looked at the possible option of gifting status?

The 4 segments isn't a problem for her, but I don't think I'd quite make the 1300sc before my review date.
In saying that in saying that im currently at 1310sc for the rolling 12months. 10352900_919592634793760_8861248631458306389_n.jpg

My review date is 24th June, with currently booked travel, i'll re-qualify middle of Feb. So then pooling to my wife up to 500sc, then back to myself, would give me 16months to earn the 1300sc ( 24/6/17 to keep me WP )

Mrs G and I both have our requal dates in March due to a particularly chunky SQ trip to Europe that got us both over the line. But she doesn't travel that much so re-qual always an issue. I re-qualified WP in September, then switched to family pooling to get her the 200 or so SCs to get her back over the line to SG, which happened just before Christmas, and have now switched back *just in case* lifetime status ever becomes a thing (Getting the extra 600 SC for her WP prob not realistic). It all went off okay and we've both been confirmed as re-qualified.

I agree the biggest benefit is that we can take more family members into the lounge, especially as now the grandparents often want to hang in the lounge with Little Miss G right up until boarding time when we head back home from family visits.
