... Interestingly I'm pretty sure I can't claim per diem for travel days as my sustenance is supposed to be at the Airlines expense :shock:
Not relevant for Domestic travel as you can pretty much get from any city with a serviced aerodrome to any other within Oz in one day.

It is relevant for international travel however as many longhaul flights involve 'overnight' travel.

That's why per diem costing is available for accommodation on domestic travel but must be substantiated for international travel.
