Waiver received on approx $50k personal stuff plus ATO payments (which stick out like dogs b@alls).
SWMBO did it with ease. But she is a sweet talker.
Anyone here has got a successful repeat waiver (more than once)?

Originally paid for this card ($89) but since then, requested, & given a waiver each time I asked... This year I donated my $89 saved to Movember
At least you have done something with the fee waiver, I applaud that. It makes it worthy.
The people who consistently ask for fee waivers for no reason really cough me. If you don't want to pay for the card don't apply for it.
You at least made it noble!
This is a really good card, however their back office customer support and the way they charge interest on this card is terrible... Also recently this card has issues of the 2x bonus points for Qantas purchases on this card, i.e the bonus points apparently are not being posted and need to be continually followed up.
Good card, but should be better...
Interesting statement but must confess I don't understand it, what's noble about paying an arbitrary fee charged by the company to make profit if you can avoid it. Overseas (where there is more competition) the credit card companies don't charge annual fees nearly as much, why do you regard credit card annual fees as "Special". Most of us negotiate on many items we pay for and or look for the best deals, why are you so upset about people negotiating their credit card fees?At least you have done something with the fee waiver, I applaud that. Just phoned up HSBC yesterday asking for a fee waiver. Put through to cancellation department, told them my intention to cancel because I got the Citibank Platinum fee free for life. Successful waiver for another year, refund of $89 in next statement. Did not need to have a zero balance on the card, as long as you made payment ontime every month.
