Fullerton Hotel is definitely 5*, it's nicer than the Fullerton Bay in my opinion. More old world/colonial charm than the newer glass thing on the bay, and I like the club lounge there.

Any comments on the Westin in Singapore? Looking to spend a Friday and Saturday night in Singapore with MrsDaver6 before work there for a few days. Pool area looks pretty nice. Really just looking to relax and eat. Getting a train/taxi around isn't an issue. Otherwise likely to land up at the Conrad.

i stayed for a few days mid week on a work trip. Pool was unfortunately out of action! Decent gym. walkable to La Pau Sat. thought it was a bit of a pain having to change lifts personally but room size was particularly good for Singapore standards. Room service good. Didn't eat in any of the restos.

at the Westin pricing i'd be tempted to check out what you can get through Virtuoso/FHR etc elsewhere (Fullerton, MO, 4 seasons etc)

At the Conrad last month the pool was open but the whole area getting work done (including gym) so wasn't a pleasant place to be other than to actually swim. Lounge situation still unclear to me.

I have upcoming bookings but they are flexible and I'm looking at alternatives.
