Hi all,

We, 2 adults & 2 kids (6 & 3), are travelling to Sydney around Easter 2018 for 7 nights and I'm looking for recommendations for a serviced apartment in Sydney. Ideally something around Darling Harbour or Circular Quay/Old Sydney if possible?

Does anyone have any recommendations/suggestions/tips etc?

Thanks in advance!

Hi mate,

For the asian cup (2015), myself and about 5 friends went to Sydney and stayed at Meriton World Tower Serviced Apartments. 10/10 experience, massive building and lovely staff.

I highly recommend and the views are ridiculous. We had a three bedroom apartment on the 73rd floor i believe.

Right near china town, darling harbour and a walk to QVB/Hyde Park.
Suggest catching the bus down to Circular Quay as they are on opposite sides of the city essentially.

Cheers

I think you could probably look at quite a few of the Meriton buildings. Meriton certainly give you plenty of size & quote size on the website. If you book direct, keep an eye on the prices, they are dynamic prices & the web site lets you easily change to the better rate. This is a review I did of the Kent St property-plenty of good food choices around for families http://www.australianfrequentflyer....and-reviews/meriton-kent-st-sydney-83232.html

I haven't done Meriton in Syd but have stayed in them before and overall not bad. Yes there is no lounges for pre dinner drinks and bars and restaurants but value for money they are good.

Thanks everyone. I'll take a look at the suggestions so far but would welcome any other recommendations too!

Been told Meriton Bondi Junction is often a bit cheaper than the city properties. It's well located above the train station, only three stops to the city, a quick bus to Bondi Beach

In the city also got Adina, Medina, Waldorf

No problems!
Wouldn't mind hearing what you end up booking because it's always handy to know of a few apartment places for boys trips etc.

Used to live in the Meriton Bondi Junction and if you have harbour views it is great and very easy to get to the city or Bondi from there

Don't stay at The Oaks Hyde Park Plaza if you want to get any sleep. It's on a major intersection and every emergency vehicle goes through with their sirens on, all through the night.
