Hi all.
My son who is 6 years old is having some difficulty with his vision. My wife took him to another specialist visit in Perth today were she was told here he is classified as legally blind. Now, he is only having trouble with one of his eyes and has been taking eye drops that reduce the ability of his good eye to work to encourage his bad one to lift its game so to speak. This has been an ongoing treatment plan for over 12 months. Now he has slightly improved but is still along way from what we would call "normal".
As a parent I want to provide the best of anything for my children, like any parent. So, what I'm hoping to gain from this thread is some thoughts on who is the best optical specialist in this country. I'm not saying that our current specialist is no good though, but I want to make sure we are doing everything possible to ensure your son has the best of the best looking after him. after all you only have two eyes!!
I look forward to your thoughts.
Cheers,
Nathan.
