Record: Slowest time for 300kms

Took off on DJ this morning at 705am for CBR from SYD. Three and a half hours later, landed back in SYD due fog. Even shot an approach but no luck.

Fantastic crew, captain kept us informed and cabin staff amazing. Refreshed my faith in DJ.

Eventually landed CBR at 1pm. Slow trip (but no one can control the weather!!)

Once had a BA 747 on my watch for 8 hours circling over CBR trying to get into SYD, turned back to MEL which was its origin and ten minutes later SYD cleared.

I admire your positive attitude....puts my own recent whinging about delays into perspective....
