Red Planet Portal Points Earned

How do you sign up for Red Planet Portal?
Does not hurt to go to the Red Planet Portal website and fill out the contact us form expressing interest. The worst that can happen is that you still don't get an invite. However, it's likely that they will invite you at some point if you're showing some interest.

I am 46000 points here and I do get quite a few non qualifications as well... started a few years back - and have not won anything from it either

I have over 70k points without winning any prizes.

There's a limited number of prizes and presumably many thousands of Red Planet Portal Members. Typically there is one prize draw per quarter, though I think at one point they did them for just 2 month periods.

I have more points than I can use anytime soon as I only want to use them J/F rewards/upgrades.

I am 75 years old and get about one survey a week but after I add my age they say "you are screened out"! so I rarely get to complete a survey these days. Obviously they don't want 'old' people doing their surveys because their input is not valued?

55 is the new 75…😉

15,785 points since I joined earlier this year.

wow... you are going better than many of us already!!
I’m a few years in in fairness haha. I think 4/5 years? 20-25k per year isn’t bad though. I’ll sometimes get heaps of surveys all at once and earn 2k in a day or two, then either nothing or loads of screen-outs, but at least get 15 points for each of the screen-outs, which all add up.

Don't know why they bother with me, I'm either not in their targeted range or I'm too late. :)

34900 points for me over 5 or so years. Have never won a prize draw. The most annoying things for me are:

- ambiguous questions
- questions where the choices are not “linear. Eg the options are: very much in favour, to some extent in favour, not at all in favour, this doesn’t cover the extent of your actual dislike of the option in question.
- when they don’t screen you out of a survey that isn’t relevant to you.

I hate it when you are asked if you have heard of particular brands (often financial institutions) and then for any you have heard of, they ask all sorts of questions about your opinion of each. Just because I have heard of a company it doesn't mean I know anything about them.

Yes, there are some I’ve learned not to be an overachiever….

Agreed, or they don't give you that option (to say you don't know), so you have to make up a response.

Same, had about a million entries into the draw, no idea who ever wins it though!
