Redeeming ANA Flights with Velocity Points on other airlines

This may come across as a dumb question, am I able to redeem Velocity points for SYD-Tokyo that I have found on United Airlines (flying ANA) by calling Velocity?

I'm unsure if they all have the same pool of rewards seats that can be redeemed from.

Struggling to find any Economy Rewards direct from SYD to HND.

Yes, if you see availability on United for ANA (NH), then Velocity should have access to the exact same seat.

I have recently booked HNL-NRT, and HND-SYD in J on ANA using my velocity points - which was wonderful. NH is one of my favourite airline, and Velocity points have just become even more valuable for me.

Good to know. Hoping to include in a future trip ex per. Wonder whether they will release 2 in J once intitial launch demand subsides.
