Hey guys,
Hoping for a bit of help - I'm burning the last of my VA points for a one way Melbourne - Oslo trip in Jan/Feb in J. I'd love to get it all on the one ticket as I'm carrying two heavy as hell checked bags and don't really want to have to leave the airport and re-check in whilst enroute. Further, I want to make us of a J baggage allowance all the way through.
Unfortunately, EY don't fly to Oslo but AB do. Whilst I've used EY redemption plenty of times, I've never tried using AirBerlin. Availability with EY as far as AUH or BER isn't a problem, but I can't check availability on the AB sectors from either AUH or BER to Oslo.
Can anybody tell me if its possible to redeem a combination of EY/AB by calling the velocity call centre, or for that matter, what the points required would be (given the required points for AB and EY are different). I've had a good look around the redemption pages of VA but can't really find an answer.
Wanted to try and get some background info before I call and battle the call centre.
Cheers guys,
Kael
