Reducing the passenger density

I wonder if the extra empty seats will encourage people to travel more in a weird way ?
I book 2 seats when travelling economy (fat person ) people worry about who will seat next them even pre covid. Knowing that there is a middle seat spare in a row of three might actually be an encouragement even with a higher seat cost in economy
