The very idea of the credit note being sent to another of their “departments” as a Qantas flight pass. Once the shift off to that Qantas flight pass an advertised air flight listed on the internet with your enquiry is forwarded to the wonderful Department of the Qantas flight Pass, the flight is increased by between 20-40%.
It appears that your FF No is the indicator to the Qantas Booking Computer to increase the price of the advertised flight.
Even further to try to contact Qantas by Phone is a waste of time. As one TV reporter advised it was quicker to fly from Sydney to Perth before a phone call is answered
I have been annoyed with a Qantas credit to the Qantas Credit Pass. I have sent a number of emails to Qantas requesting a refund and not a credit.
Qantas returned 4 times with a SR number” we are busy at the moment an will contact you shortly” The first SR code message dated 17.03.2022. Only once did Qantas return an email with “please provide a time and date with your phone number so we can ring you“. I complied with this request with a returned email stating date, time and phone number. Sat and waited the 4 hours time spot NO PHONE CALL
Customer Service is NIL
My Flights were booked and paid for 26.07.2019, prior to any idea of covid19, for a trip to Melb and Gold Coast May 2020. Flights cancelled by Qantas. It is now 34 months since I paid for the flights. Enough is enough pay the refund for the full amount.
Any suggestions to how I get a refund of some 34 months ago Please
