That's just QF's way of incentivizing MEL based travellers to reach for PlatinumSeeing that MEL remains in the dungeon, hopefully they at least do very good light design there. I find most indoors / enclosed lounges are pretty dimly lit for most parts. The lack of natural light should really be compensated with a zone or two of good, brighter lighting (and then a zone or two of dim and quiet for those who want to rest).
