The early sitting at 11:30am fits in well with me going to the footy straight after for the Dees v Doggies game at Etihad so I'm a Platinum.

Was Cool Cat Phil coming to lunch for the chopsticks duel?

Cant make it Tomorrow mate, but if your free next week, lets tee something up !

Slept in. Too many red wines last night. Missed train. Will be about 15 min late.

Great catching up again and for me meeting outbackowner and whughes3 for the first time. As it turns out obo and I have a mutual acquaintance. Small world. Also wh3 wins the prize for the most Chinese tea drunk on the day. And thanks to boomy for the lift to the footy after lunch. Unfortunately the Dees lost by a kick after a 7 goal third quarter to get back into it. Several lead changes in the last. Could have gone either way or a draw for that matter.
BTW, great lunch and fellowship. Thanks to straitman and serfty for organising. Look forward to the next one.

Looks like you all had fun.

You look a little underdressed for the footy Goodonya, where did you sit? :p :p

I guess being at EY (Docklands) stadium he was under a roof at the footy.

However, jackets were hung on cloak hooks elswhere in the restaurant.

Ahh, I see... I assumed he was at the members in which case, I usually wear a suit so I can access the long room, etc.

Nah, for Etihad usually score a couple of Medallion Club seats from mates not using them. No need for the jacket and tie :)
Tell me when you're going next to the G and we'll have an AFF meeting in the Long Room ;)
