Renaissance Kuala Lumpur

I haven't stayed there but visited colleagues who were staying there. It seemed alright, a good hotel. Personally I think there are better options in KL to choose from.

Although it is the the central city it is a bit out of the way. Nothing much within reasonable walking distance. Only really Zouk nightclub and Saloma theatre. You could walk to KLCC but in the heat and humidity I wouldn't recommend it. Although it is close to the Bukit Nanas monorail station which can come in handy.

Stayed there in May and it was very good. Staff were fantastic and the rooms clean and a decent size. The walk to KLCC is not at all taxing even with the heat. It's also close to both the monorail and train. Breakfast in the west tower was pretty good too.

The only downside was no free wifi in the rooms but its still excellent value for money.

We would definitely stay there again.
