This suits this forum but is Amex related
I rely on my Amex Plat Charge card insurance for Australian rentals. I am going to start renting from Europcar, as getting prestige rentals from Hertz is just too hard now, they are pretty much always Sold Out
So the T&C on the Amex website is
"Rental Vehicles with a retail purchase price in excess of $70,000 or vehicles over twenty (20) years old." (are not covered)
My most common rental will be the Audi A4 Avant, and the RRP on the Audi website is $66375 but of course that is without any option etc!
So, how do I know if I would be covered, as I don't really want to pay $66 extra for the insurance through Europcar..
Any thoughts or better insurance options that I could purchase ?
