replacement for dining rewards

i thought IHG were going to introduce some new program to replace dining rewards ''in 2016''. does anyone know whether anything is still in the pipeline?

Probably up there with the exciting new benefits for Spire
I'm suspicious they are just offering the occasional discount at hotel restaurants

They have launched a new version of dining rewards in Singapore in the last few weeks, but it's expensive with very few benefits (that interest me at least)

yeah well singapore is such an easy place to get a great meal at a great price, so i can quite believe it wouldn't be a very interesting program.

I figure if anything happens it'll be after all the old memberships have well and truly lapsed. Last signup was mid-December 2015... so probably not long now.

It's called Gourmet Collection. Seems expensive to me. GOURMET COLLECTION - The Exclusive Dining Society

My first priority would be for IHG to follow SPG in allowing you to get points when dining at their restaurants when not staying there.

We may also see more 'brand' specific promotions like this ...which again I like though yes not the same as 2 for 1 dining and rewards certificates.

They don't make you commit to a brand though. The loss of DR makes my status match to HH more likely to be a permanent move
