Travelling with daughter Syd-LHR QF PE. I've clicked the upgrade option. Only enough points for over or return. Wondering how it works. Would we be considered for one way upgrade? Sorry if seems silly question, I've not done this previously on upgrade requests. Would love to give her the business experience. I have expert flyer, been keeping up to date on seating, at this stage more availability over.

sorry, but was unsure where to post. TIA

Hi parsonstrish,

im sure others can give you an idea of loading if you give your date of travel.

however....my thoughts would be to put the upgrade in for the flight over to London.
Then, if you get it .....great. And if you don't, then try again for the return trip.

nothing ventured.....nothing gained.

TQ

Thank you Travel Queen. I have subscription to Expert Flyer, aware of loadings. When I enter upgrade, the complete trip comes up. My question is will I be offered upgrade when I only have enough points for either over or return. Thanks again.

So, if you ask to upgrade does it split the legs of the trip?

TQ

My question answered, fingers & toes crossed for upgrade over. Will continue to monitor expert flyer re flight details. It would be lovely to surprise daughter with business.
