Just saw the email, good timing as I was just about to make a booking for Friday :)

Got the email as well. Wonder if my staff have booked our Xmas lunch yet (only confirmed date and numbers yesterday). Better check to see if the restaurant is on the list

900 points would be nice

How long does it take for the points to credit to your account? Or is this like AAdvantage eShopping, you make the booking / purchase in the hope of getting points and they never come through and most people don't bother chasing them up?

My points (and bonus) definitely came through.

Will check when I get home as to how long they came through.

The base points credit monthly. The bonus take a little longer but they do come through.

Thanks both for the response, sounds like I could be a little early in expecting credit yet.

IME, points take a number of weeks to credit, but they do credit, unlike Virgin restaurant points, which are similar to AA!

AA Restaurants are tied to your credit card. IME, they have always credited promptly, providing I use my CC that is associated with the AA program.

It's a great way of doing it. Just dine, use card, get bonus miles. No need to book or remember to take my FF card. Lots of choices too.

I hadn't bothered but have found out nearly all my favourite sunshine coast restaurants are now part of the program.
Count me in.

Good luck getting them to credit, almost two months since I tried one and nothing. Helpfully the Qantas Ponzi website says in relation to the restaurant program "Retrospective points claims not accepted"
