Retro Trip Report - UK, Europe & Morocco 1972 (or how did my parents survive?)

Have to agree with others, this is one of the best trip reports I have ever read. Took me back to the era of when travel planning involved getting brochures from travel agents and carefully poring over them until they were dog eared. Certainly a real adventure they took you on.
Hi @Toula92122 - it was certainly a different era for travelling, where it was part planning and part winging it. I think that worked better as there were more surprises (good and bad) which made for the experience. Today, it is very easy to almost know what it will be like in advance with Google Street View, Tripadvisor etc that it can take the fun out of it.
