Reward booking cancellation

I understand if you cancel a business flight you get the points back. Do you also get points put towards the tax etc?

Hi Mketh, welcome - I'd put this question direct to VA in an email. In any case I wouldn't be banking on a credible answer though, sometimes these rather unique queries may be interpreted by people who may not have all the facts.

15.2.13 Where a Member has used Points + Pay to redeem a Reward Seat booking, subject to the relevant Fare Rules, the Member may receive a refund of the Points + Pay components. Any Points refund will be credited back into the Membership Account and any pay component will be refunded either to a Travel Bank account or to the Accepted Payment Card the payment was originally deducted from.

There is a separate cancellation fee payable as cash or points.. your choice with the cancellation fee
