They have gone up, were only 25000 before.
Thanks Markis,
I will give them a call and see if they will honour the offer.

Was just tasked with booking a hotel room here in Perth for my uncle for 2 nights.
All I can say is...Thank God for PCR Points
Even though I paid 35k instead of the old 25k rate at the CP, it's still at least half the price of anything comparable. This city has gone mad!
Mostly because it's only 20,000 points difference, it's still a hell of a lot cheaper and finally no one really seems to know if the old rate offer is really a one-time offer or not. If it is, I'd rather use it on myself and get more value out of it than 20k saving. Why dont you ring the PC service centre and re book it at the old rate?

That, and he rang me from his hire car
The Reward Night chart above is effective January 18, 2012. If the hotel that you originally planned to book now requires more points, simply call the Priority Club Service Center to reserve your Reward Night and ask for the original point price. This offer is valid through March 18, 2012.
Over at flyertalk there are reports that it is a one-off exception rather than multi-use, from those who have rung up.Its an ongoing offer rather than a one off, not sure where that confusion is, 20K is USD$120 worth!

In any case, the price was more than acceptable to my uncle who was very happy with the rate.
Thats in relation to the service centre claiming any request to stick to their own published rules re awarding points etc is often granted "as a one off exception", they do it to me all the time! I have had a few one offs, in this case its very clear!

CP Canberra has also gone up to 35,000
