Most went to Jetstar.well that would be pilots qualified for saab flights
I wonder who they are leaving them for - qantaslink on those horrible Q400s?
Next step after a Saab is generally a 320/737.

I think you mean RQG. RQC is just in the Philippines for a maintenance visit.Still awaiting confirmation whether the rumours of VH-RQC (ex-VA aircraft) leaving the ZL fleet is true or false, considering reports that particular 737 was on a 3 year lease only.
Jet #10 was previously operated by GOL in Brazil.Unsure of the former operator of this aircraft, but Rex are certainly collecting an eclectic mix of used 737s.
I was about to ask that, otherwise quite curious what they will install if not from RQG, I assume the lessor would be happy to sell them some seats, they are just going to get turfed anyway.I wonder if the J seats from RQG have been warehoused for transfer into 8ZL, considering the ex-GOL aircraft does have the all-Y (Economy Space and Standard Economy) layout as an LCC.
RQG is still in service, so if there’s overlap, that probably won’t happen.I was about to ask that, otherwise quite curious what they will install if not from RQG, I assume the lessor would be happy to sell them some seats, they are just going to get turfed anyway.
Regardless, it’s such a wide variety of cabins on each 737.
These flights start on December 16, so you can bet they'll be operated by 8ZL, with no cabin changes.* For ZL234 and ZL243 (between Melbourne/Brisbane): Business class is standard cabin seating. Middle seats are unoccupied with Business Class passengers allocated a window or aisle seat.
They aren’t GOL seats.VH-8ZL is confirmed to be using GOL's Y seats. Unknown what type of J seat REX has installed on that specific aircraft.

Looking at the seat maps for these flights, 8ZL has 32 rows. So it’s most likely in a 189 seat configuration.According to Rex's Business Class page:

I assume/hope this is a temporary measure to provide extra capacity over the holidays...
189, with a partial row 1 does align with the Avelo configuration.Looking at the seat maps for these flights, 8ZL has 32 rows. So it’s most likely in a 189 seat configuration.
Row 3 also seems available for selection in both the Business & Economy cabins.
Should have the sky interior.Does -8ZL feature a Boeing sky interior (BSI) or the older dated style?
